EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION Capt Vijayant Thapar was born on 26 Dec 1976 in a military family to Colonel V N Thapar and Mrs Tripta Thapar.  At the time of his birth his father was posted in Pathankot with an armoured brigade and so his name was kept 'VIJAYANT' the main battle tank of the army. Early Life and Education Ian Cardozo was born to Vincent Cardozo and Diana Cardozo in 1937 in Bombay,British India . He studied at St Xaviers college mumbai and has cleared his NDA exam to get commissioned into Indian Army . Capt Manoj Kumar Pandey (25 june 1975-3 july 1999) was an Indian Army officer of the 1st battalion,11 Gorkha Rifles who was posthumously awarded the India's highest Military honor,Param Vir Chakra for his courage and leadership during the Kargil War in 1999.He laid his life in the line of duty during the attack on Jubar Top, Khalubar Hills in Batalik Sector,Kargil.
